ASPEN/SNOWMASS OFFERS KIDS THE ADVENTURE OF A LIFETIME!



Ages 5 and 6 Group Lessons

For skiers & snowboarders!

Our program for ages 5 and 6 is fondly called GRIZZLIES. This program is designed for little rippers that are on skis or a snowboard for the first time as well as for those who have been shredding it up their entire short lives.  It's all about fun and safety on the slopes for this energetic group.

• Grizzlies Pros are specially trained, love working with kids and make learning fun
• Pros lead kids through creative drills designed to increase their skiing & riding skills
• Know the code!  Our Pros incorporate the Skiers Responsibility Code in every lesson
• Special events include the Winter Wild Things Native Animal Exploration and race days
• Program includes lesson, lunch and lift ticket. 

Buttermilk and Snowmass Grizzlies of all abilities may join group lessons at both Snowmass and Buttermilk and may choose the full day program or the morning half day option.  (Snowboard Grizzlies should be ready for the full day as we do not offer the morning half day for our Snowboard kids!)

Aspen Highlands Grizzlies (skiers only!) must be at least an intermediate to expert level and ready to ski the full day as we do not offer the morning half day option on this mountain.

Ages 7 to 12 Group Lessons

For skiers & snowboarders at Buttermilk and Snowmass!  Skiers only at Highlands!

Experienced Pros share their wealth of knowledge and instill and appreciation for the mountain environment.  Their passion is contagious and kids enjoy honing their skills while they develop a love for the sport.  For beginners to experts. 

Kids will:

• Learn in a supportive and fun environment while developing confidence and life skills
• Gain a solid understanding of the safety aspects involved with snow sports.  Our Pros incorporate the Skier Responsibility Code in every lesson
• Enjoy kids their own age and create lasting friendships
• Explore the mountain!  Try new skills, terrain and snow conditions based on appropriate skill development
• Experience the thrill of the park & pipe and/or race course with our expert coaches
• Enjoy group lessons so much they will not want the vacation to end!

Kids of all abilities may join group lessons at both Snowmass and Buttermilk.

Aspen Highlands Skiers Only!  Kids must be at least an intermediate to expert level.

After School Special
The After School Special in Snowmass provides a continued snow-sports experience in the afternoon/evening that nourishes a passion to learn and have fun. Held in the Treehouse beginner zone and serviced by a magic carpet lift, a lighted beginner freestyle box, rail, and music await the stoked skiers and riders for every session. Call for details!
